Sept. 1, 2017–Black Flag Communications has been retained by Maersk for public relations counsel, effective immediately.
“With our Gulf Coast location, Black Flag was perfectly positioned to pick up a project for Maersk late last month,” said Black Flag Communications Director Scott Rye. “We already had been in positive discussions with Maersk communications leadership in Copenhagen and New Jersey when an opportunity for a project presented itself. Based on our performance, Black Flag subsequently was retained as a PR and crisis communications partner. I can’t say enough about what a great company Maersk is. Everything the company does is informed by its core values. This is a company with heart.”
Maersk Line is the world’s largest container shipping company. The Maersk Liner business also includes Safmarine, Seago Line, SeaLand and MCC. The company operates all over the world and has a fleet of 639 ships.
